Empowering the Next Generation of Igbo Leaders

Summer Mentorship Program

Building Bridges. Shaping Futures. Empowering Our Youth.

With the largest population of Nigerians today being teenagers, the future of our community depends on how well we support, guide, and invest in them now. The UIU Bay Area Mentorship Program is designed to connect young Igbo people with culturally grounded, forward-thinking mentors who can help them navigate their academic, professional, cultural and personal journeys.

This isn’t just about mentorship—it’s about legacy. Our goal is to create meaningful relationships and networks that equip the next generation with tools for confidence, leadership, and collective growth.

By grounding our youth in identity and empowering them through opportunity, we are planting seeds that will shape a stronger, more connected Igbo future.
